The present Gyalwang Drukpa is the twelfth incarnation of the founder of the Drukpa Lineage, Tsangpa Gyare Yeshe Dorje (1161-1211). The successive reincarnations of the Drogon Tsangpa Gyare are recognized as the Spiritual Head of the Drukpa Lineage and responsible for the spiritual guidance of over 800 Drukpa Monasteries, in Tibet, Nepal, Ladakh, Garsha Kinnuar and other parts of the Indian Himalyas.

Dear dharma friends,
during the wonderful retreat with Drubpon Nawang in Poland, June 12, we recited 900 Long Life Prayers for His Holiness. After the retreat some of us could stay a day longer and we recited the long Buddha Amitayus Mantra 850 times, the short Amitayus Mantra 5300 times and we did 600 Düshi Pungi Long Life Prayers. We are sending a few pictures from our retreat with Venerable Drubpong Nawang.
My His Holiness and Drukpa Masters live a long and happy life!
