The present Gyalwang Drukpa is the twelfth incarnation of the founder of the Drukpa Lineage, Tsangpa Gyare Yeshe Dorje (1161-1211). The successive reincarnations of the Drogon Tsangpa Gyare are recognized as the Spiritual Head of the Drukpa Lineage and responsible for the spiritual guidance of over 800 Drukpa Monasteries, in Tibet, Nepal, Ladakh, Garsha Kinnuar and other parts of the Indian Himalyas.

Long Life Prayers from Drukpa UK

This weekend Drubpon Ngawang came to inaugurate our new centre in London and we accumulated together 9,800 of His Holiness's Long Life Prayers (Dushi Poung Gui). Individual members of the sangha have also accumulated 21 Long Life Dharanis and 51,600 Amitayus mantras (mixture of long and short version).
