We have been in a "Tropical Store", where animals from far away countries are offered for sale. We saw so many wonderful beings, deprived of their natural environment; instead of living in a jungle or desert, they are now kept in aquariums or tanks and the businessmen ask a lot of money for them.
We human beings are capable of imposing incredible terror and cruelty upon others, just to take possession of these beings. It made us very sad, so we recollected and practiced Amitayus.
When we hunkered over the turtle´s tank silently whispering, she came to us and put her head out of the water. Apparently she was smiling at us.
We would have liked to take all the animals with us and bring them back into their natural habitats!
But we liberated crickets and worms, totally 1.300 and dedicated for the long life of His Holiness, His parents and all the masters of the Drukpa Lineage. Thereafter we practiced shabten recitations.
