Drukpa Mexico´s Last Shabten and Thröma practice in our centre

The present Gyalwang Drukpa is the twelfth incarnation of the founder of the Drukpa Lineage, Tsangpa Gyare Yeshe Dorje (1161-1211). The successive reincarnations of the Drogon Tsangpa Gyare are recognized as the Spiritual Head of the Drukpa Lineage and responsible for the spiritual guidance of over 800 Drukpa Monasteries, in Tibet, Nepal, Ladakh, Garsha Kinnuar and other parts of the Indian Himalyas.

Drukpa Mexico´s Last Shabten and Thröma practice in our centre.

Due to impermanence and to conditions beyond our control, we were asked to leave the place which had been our centre for 10 years. The owners of the house who had kindly hosted Drukpa Mexico for so long, have other plans.

Saturday October 10th we had our last Thröma ganachakra and did Dharani for His Holiness and all Drukpa Masters and at the end, we dedicated all the merits, thanked our hosts and closed all thangkas and packed our things.

For the time being, we are sort of “homeless or nomads” yet we continue our practices at a Cultural Center called “Nalanda”.
